Philippine Consulate in Missouri

Missouri belongs to the Chicago consular district. Both St. Louis and Kansas City are long trips from the responsible consulate, and there is no Philippine office in the state.
Where Missouri is served from
How far the consulate is from your city
Driving distances to the consulate that covers each city, calculated at posted speed limits and without traffic:
| City | Consulate | Distance | Journey |
|---|---|---|---|
| St. Louis | Chicago | 296 miles | 5 h 35 min by car |
| Columbia | Chicago | 400 miles | 7 h 36 min by car |
| Kansas City | Chicago | 510 miles | 9 h 38 min by car |
| Springfield | Chicago | 512 miles | 9 h 37 min by car |
From Springfield that is 9 h 37 min by car each way, which makes it worth checking the consular outreach schedule before committing to the drive: missions bring passport and dual citizenship services to cities without a consulate, and the appointments are free.
Three procedures that never reach a counter
Three of the most searched Philippine procedures in the United States are not consular procedures at all, and knowing that is worth more than knowing the opening hours:
The short version: PSA certificates are ordered online from Manila, apostilles on documents issued in Missouri come from the state's own competent authority, since 15 May 2019 the consulate cannot authenticate them, and the NBI clearance travels by mail; only its fingerprint card needs a consular officer.
What does require you in person is anything carrying your biometrics or your signature: a passport, the oath of allegiance and a special power of attorney.
St. Louis to Chicago is around five hours; Kansas City closer to eight. For most procedures the answer is mail and online portals rather than the road.
philippineconsulates.us is an independent information guide to the Philippine consulates in the United States. We are not the Philippine Consulate General, the Philippine Embassy or any government agency. We do not book, sell or manage appointments: every consulate runs its own system. We check the details regularly, but they can change without notice, always confirm with the consulate before you travel.
